The event, called ‘The Global Cardboard Challenge’, was organised to spread awareness about entrepreneurship and project-based creative play.
With STEAM education emerging as a boon to Indian education system, a Noida school arranged an event to bring the student’s creativity and talents together.
The two-day long event, hosted at Shiv Nadar School, Noida, ended on Tuesday. The students, aged between 8-14 years, could pick a theme from Aerospace Science and Flight, Handcrafts and Arts, Caine’s Arcade and Gaming, Creative Engineering and Bordering on Insane.
Talking about the event, the school principal Shashi Banerjee said, “The Global Cardboard Challenge is a fascinating and interesting module for children, who can bring their learning in different domains to work. Experiential learning is the way forward.”
“A STEAM-based event like this brings out children’s ability to analyse, deduce, research, collaborate, become creative, self-aware and above all bridge the gap between theory and practice,” she added.
