The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued a number of notifications throughout 2019. The circulars related to change in exam pattern, low attendance rate, fitness week and so on were released on the official website of CBSE, cbse.nic.in.
While this year students of Class X will get 20% objective questions and 10% questions would be based on creative thinking, by 2023 question papers for classes X and XII will be based on creative, innovative and critical thinking. The Board organizes trainings of teachers through its regional training centres in various subjects and other core skills related to school education.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) observed Fitness Week in the second and third week of November as a part of Fit India Movement. The prime objective of the initiative was to bring about a behavioural change in school children from spending “Passive Screen Time” to “Active Field Time”.As per ‘The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016’, CBSE is extending several exemptions/concessions to candidates with disabilities.
