GRE (Graduate Record Exam) is a skill-based international standardized test required by most universities in the USA, UK, Canada, etc for admission into their bachelors, masters (or above) level courses.
GRE is more about your ability to focus for a long period of time rather than knowledge. The test is 3.5 hours long. If you are not used to concentrate for so long, it would be very difficult for you to do so during the test.
- A lot of sources are available on the internet to help students remember the words with pictorial representation along with sentences to better understand it.
- Start with reading editorials, online articles and go on to reading books. Project-Syndicate is a great website to read good articles. Try to summarize the article in your own words after reading this. Over time you will get better at it. This will help especially in scoring well in reading comprehension.
- Always stay positive. Sleep well before the test day. Last-minute stress and study would not help you score well.
