Due to the Coronavirus lockdown which has now been extended to April 15 to slow down the spread of Covid-19, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released a notice announcing that the medical examinations for GD Constable and Sub Inspector recruitments in various departments have been postponed.
SSC exams postponed:
1. The Review Medical Examination scheduled between March 23 and March 30 for candidates who had appeared for the Constable (GD) recruitment exam for hiring in CAPFs, NIA, SSF, and for the Rifleman (GD) recruitment in Assam Rifles Examination, 2018.
2. The Detailed Medical Examination (DME) which was supposed be held from March 26 to April 7 for 1,723 candidates who had applied for Constable (GD) posts in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2018.
3. The Detailed Medical Examination (DME) which was supposed to be held from March 23 to March 30 for remaining candidates who had applied for Sub-Inspector posts in Delhi Police CAPFs, and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF Examination, 2018.
