As per reports, The Karnataka Govt has decided to drop or cancel the class 8 and 9 examinations in the state. The decision to postpone the examination was taken by a high-level meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
The Karnataka SSLC examinations were scheduled for March 27, 2020, to April 9, 2020. While, the Karnataka PUC II Exams 2020 are currently going on and are scheduled to end on March 23, 2020.
As a precautionary measure to tackle the current situation, the government of India has asked to shut down all the schools and institutions. CBSE class 10 and 12 examinations that were scheduled between March 19, 2020, to March 31, 2020, have been postponed.
The JEE mains exam, the ICSE, CBSE exams along with school exams in all states have been postponed looking at the current scenario. The evaluation work of the papers has also been suspended up to March 31, 2020. The evaluation of CBSE, NIOS as well as university exam may be scheduled from April 1, 2020.
