Due Coronavirus Outbreak, the Telangana High Court on Friday, i.e. March 20, 2020, has directed the state and its SSC board to postpone all the SSC exams which began on Thursday, March 19, 2020. However, as per reports, the exam which is scheduled for tomorrow will be held as per schedule.
The Telengana SSC exam was scheduled to continue till April 6. With this, over 5 lakh candidates are registered for the Telangana class 10th board examination. On Wednesday, Telangana recorded eight new positive cases of coronavirus taking a total number to 13 in the state so far.
Till now several board examinations including CBSE, ICSE, Kerala Board, Punjab Board, MP Board, Chhattisgarh Board have already been cancelled. As a precautionary measure to tackle the current situation, the government of India has asked to shut down all the schools and institutions. CBSE class 10 and 12 examinations that were scheduled between March 19, 2020, to March 31, 2020, have been postponed.
