NTA provides mock tests for students to help them get the hang of the exam pattern and attempting style, students would need to develop their strategy to appear online. Often candidates get confused between the ‘Save & Next’ which is used to save the answer for the current question and then go to the next question and ‘Review & Next’ to save the answer for the current question, mark it for review, and then go to the next question.
Here are few January toppers’ strategies to attempt online exam:
- Attempting scoring questions first gives confidence to many candidates.
- It is important to keep your cool during the exam and treat each question individually. One’s focus should be to crack as many questions as possible and not on the result. Also, practising mock tests helps in self-assessment.
- Often the brain gets complacent while reading the same subjects for a longer duration of time so try to shuffle between subjects.
- For those preparing for JEE Mains 2019, should also practice and familiarise themselves with the type of questions that are asked in the exam as well as with the format. Solving previous years’ question papers is a help.
