The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the tentative answer keys of the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract) Examination 2018. All the candidates can check the SSC JE Answer Key 2018 on the official website, the link for which is ssc.nic.in. As per reports, the Computer Based Examination for recruitment of SSC JE Answer Key 2018 was held from September 23 to September 27 at different centres all over the country.
The selection process of Junior Engineer posts carries written examination (Paper I and Paper II) followed by physical efficiency test and document verification.
Paper I is a computer-based test and Paper II is descriptive type test. The objective type test comprises of General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness and General Engineering.
Paper-II comprises of General Engineering. In Paper-I and Paper-II for General Engineering, the candidate will be required to attempt only the part as per option is given in the application form filled by the candidate.
Steps to check SSC JE Answer Key 2018:
- Log on to the official website, ssc.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on ‘Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract) Examination – 2018, Uploading of Tentative Answer Keys’
- On the new page, read all the details and click on ‘Link for candidate’s response sheet, tentative answer keys and submission of representation’
- Enter your User ID (As per Admission Certificate) and Password (As per Admission Certificate)
- Click on submit
- Raise objections if any
- Click on submit
Candidates can raise objections against the tentative answer keys till October 17, 2019 on payment of Rs 100 per question/answer challenged. The candidates’ may take a print out of their respective response sheets, as the same will not be available after the above-specified time limit.
