As per sources, Five persons, including two of the Lucknow University’s (LU) former vice-chancellors SP Singh and RP Singh and two registrars, have been booked for fraud and cheating in a 13-year-old case of appointment of a lecturer.
In his complaint, Pandey has claimed that he had applied for the post of lecturer in 2007 but his application was declined while Kavita Chaturvedi who had submitted fake documents, was appointed to the post. The appointment was made by the then vice-chancellor RP Singh, who headed the selection panel.
Pandey collected all relevant documents through the Right to Information (RTI) and then filed the police complaint.
