As per the sources, The district administration has ordered registration of FIRs against 13 schools here for not obeying the state government’s order to remain shut on Thursday and Friday due to extremely cold weather.

District magistrate Ajay Shankar Pandey told PTI it was observed that even after the administrative order was circulated by district inspector of schools (DIOS), some schools were opened on Thursday.

Thirteen schools have been identified for flouting the instructions, he said. FIRs would be lodged against MD Public school, Sanskar Public school, Presidium Public school, Sonika Public school, Servin Public school, Children Public school, DPS Public school, DAV Public school, Green Field Public school, Presidium school Rajnagar extension, Blooming Kids Convent school Loni, Anamika inter-college and Sophia inter-college, under the appropriate sections of law.
