On behalf of UGC, the National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian Universities and Colleges.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) correction process for UGC NET and CSIR NET examinations begins. The form correction process will conclude on October 25, 2019. Candidates must take a note that correction will be allowed in only certain specific details and they will not be allowed to change every detail in the application form.

Interested candidates belonging to General (Unreserved) category must possess M.Sc. or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/ BE/ BTech/ BPharma/ MBBS with at least 55% marks. For candidates belonging to OBC, SC/ST, and Persons with Disability (PwD) category 50 percent marks are mandatory.
In order to make corrections in the application form, candidates would need to login to their account on the NTA website. Candidates can also approach NTA for correction and consideration of their candidature for the exam.
Candidates whose confirmation page was not generated can approach the NTA help line between 10 am to 5 pm from October 18, 2019 to October 25, 2019 with the proof of fee paid.
