Assam Police Constable recruitment notification has been released and a total of 6662 vacant positions of Constable (Armed and Un-Armed). A total of 6662 vacancies are available of which 1917 are for Constable UB Branch and 3419 are for Constable Armed Branch. Candidates must be between 18 to 25 years of age.

Un-Armed Branch: H.S. or Class XII passed from a recognized Board or Council for the post of Constable, Unarmed Branch, District Executive Force (DEF).

Armed Branch: H.S.L.C or Class-X passed from a recognized Board or Council for the post of constable of Armed Branch.

The eligible candidates can apply for the post in the prescribed format through the SLPRB website (www. slprbassam.in) from December 23, 2019 to January 6, 2020.
