The admit cards have been available since Saturday, 26 April 2014. They contain the Candidate Name, Form Number, Roll Number, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. Candidates need to strictly follow the date and time allotted in the case of the online test. Candidates who have opted for the online test can choose the date and time slot of their choice, subject to availability. Date and time slot will be automatically allotted by the system to those candidates who do not select their slot upto 4 days before the online test. No request for change of date and time slot will be entertained.
The paper-based examination of MAT May 2014 is expected to be held on Sunday, May 4, 2014 (from 10 am to 12.30 pm) and the online examination will start from Saturday, May 10, 2014 (to be held in multiple time slots at specific test centers, depending on the number of candidates registering for the online test).
MAT is conducted by AIMA as a national entrance test for admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA) and equivalent programs offered by various participating institutes. MAT result is accepted by the All India Management Association – Centre for Management Education (AIMA-CME) as well as other All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved management institutes and university departments. The test is held in several cities across India four times in a year in the months of February, May, September and December. The scores of MAT are valid for one year in many management institutes. Over 600 business schools (B-schools) in India accept MAT scores to grant admission to candidates. The last installment of MAT was concluded in February, 2014.
The last date of online registrations for MAT May 2014 was extended from Wednesday, April 16 to Saturday, April 19, 2014. Moreover, the last date for receipt of filled-in online registration forms at the AIMA office in New Delhi was extended from Saturday, April 19 to Monday, April 21, 2014.
