ADMISSION NOTIFICATION 2015-16

NIEPMD invites applications from candidates for admission to B.Ed Spl Edn (MD) for the academic year 2015-16. The course is recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi & affiliated with Tamil Nadu Teacher Education University, Chennai.

Name of the course: B.Ed – Special Education (Multiple Disabilities)

Dureation of the course: 2 Years*

No of Seats: 20

Application Fee: Rs.500/- (Rs.350/ – for SC/ST/PH)

Eligibility: A Bachelor Degree from an UGC approved University in any of the Secondary School subjects in the pattern of 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 with
minimum marks of (OC – 50%, BC – 45%, MBC/DNC – 43%, SC/ST – 40%)
Or
PG Degree in Economics, Commerce, Home Science, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Logic and Indian Culture from an UGC approved
University with minimum marks of 50%

Last date of sale of & submission of filled in application at NIEPMD: 14/08/2015

*At present the course duration is for 2 years, subject to the direction of Tamil Nadu Teacher Education University, Chennai and as per the pending
case in this regard at Hon’ble Madras High Court.

Government of Tamil Nadu norms will be followed for reservation of seats.

The courses will be offered subject to the response from the candidates’ / filling up half of the intake capacity of each.
