The last major paper in the CBSE Class 10 board exams was held today, March 18, as students all over India appeared for the CBSE Class 10 Social Science paper despite the Coronavirus outbreak forcing schools all over the world to shut down temporarily. We spoke to a board examiner and a few students for the CBSE Class 10 Social Science paper analysis and found that the paper was easy with direct questions.
“The CBSE Class 10 Social Science paper was quite average in difficulty,” said Soumi Basu, a senior teacher of Political Science for more than 20 years and an experienced CBSE board examiner for over 22 years.
As with most CBSE papers, the 1-mark questions were tricky, said the board examiner.
This year, CBSE has introduced 1-mark MCQ questions which are often concept-based. This 1-mark section is appearing to be tricky for almost every subject not just for Class 12 students, but for Class 10 students as well.
